Altitude Simulation

Description: This test is designed to evaluate whether a patient's breathing will be affected by high altitudes (i.e., airplane travel, mountain climbing, and travel to Reno or Tahoe).
Test: The patient will breathe air from a machine that simulates high altitude.
Length of Time: Approximately 1.5 hours.
Preparation: Eat a regular breakfast/lunch and drink plenty of fluids.
